    Eoin Murphy

    Principal Solicitor

    Eoin Murphy is the Principal at Murphy Rice & Co Solicitors, leading the firm’s practice with a strong focus on client service and long-term relationships.

    He studied Law at University College Cork before training with a firm in West Cork, qualifying as a solicitor in 1998. He later joined Ernst & Young in Dublin, specialising in tax, before relocating to Sydney where he further qualified as a solicitor and gained valuable experience working in private client services within the banking sector.

    Returning to East Cork, Eoin established his own practice in Midleton in 2007, growing the firm through a client-focused and practical approach. In 2021, he took over the long-established practice of W. St Clair Rice, bringing the firms together under the name of Murphy Rice & Co Solicitors.

    He advises across a broad range of legal matters, with particular focus on commercial law, litigation, family law, and probate and tax.

    Committed to ongoing professional development, Eoin also returned to study and qualified as a Notary Public.

    Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and their three children, and has a keen interest in triathlon and tennis.

    Mairead Rowley

    Solicitor

    Mairead is a practising solicitor at Murphy Rice & Co Solicitors, having joined the firm in 2022. She brings over 20 years’ experience and advises clients on a broad range of residential and commercial property matters, as well as probate and banking law.

    Her work includes handling residential and commercial purchases and sales, new builds, re-mortgages, voluntary transfers, and agricultural transactions. She also provides guidance in relation to wills, estate administration, and probate, with additional experience acting for developers on residential developments.

    Mairead is known for delivering clear, practical advice, helping clients navigate each stage of the legal process in a straightforward and supportive way.

    A graduate of University College Cork (BCL Hons), Mairead trained and qualified as a solicitor in 2005 through the Law Society of Ireland. She has practised in Cork since qualification, working across property, banking, and private client matters. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS Hons) from UCC.

    Outside of work, Mairead enjoys GAA, walking, and spending time with her family.

    Regina Forrest

    Solicitor

    Regina is a practising solicitor at Murphy Rice & Co Solicitors, specialising in conveyancing and probate matters. With over 20 years’ experience, she advises a broad range of clients on residential, commercial, and agricultural property transactions.

    Her work covers all aspects of property transactions, including residential and commercial sales and purchases, new builds, re-mortgages, and voluntary transfers. She works with both private and business clients, providing clear, practical guidance to ensure transactions progress smoothly from instruction through to completion.

    In addition to her property work, Regina has significant experience in wills, probate, and the administration of estates, supporting clients through what can often be a sensitive process with clear, straightforward advice.

    Regina is known for her practical, approachable manner and strong focus on client service, ensuring clients feel informed and supported at every stage.

    A graduate of University College Cork (BCL Hons), Regina qualified as a solicitor with the Law Society of Ireland in 2005. She also holds a Diploma in Notarial Law, awarded in 2021.

    Outside of the office, Regina enjoys sea swimming, GAA, and spending time with her family.
